The commitment
Half of the profits from this book will support children’s education in Sattur. This is a share of profits, not half the purchase price.
Profit means the revenue from book sales remaining after all book-related expenses. I will personally visit schools in Sattur and hand over 50% of that profit to support children’s education. The schools and handover date will be shared once finalised.

What will I receive?+
A 118-page Tamil hardcover edition of வைப்பாற்றங்கரையினிலே by Raja T M, containing ten short stories.
How much is shipping?+
₹50 per order within India, irrespective of the number of copies. One copy costs ₹300 including shipping; two copies cost ₹550.
When will my preorder arrive?+
Dispatch is expected in the last week of October 2026. We will email preorder customers with dispatch updates. Courier delivery takes additional time after dispatch. The dispatch window is not a guaranteed delivery date.
How does the education commitment work?+
50% of the profits from this book will support children’s education in Sattur. It does not mean 50% of the price you pay. Profit is book-sales revenue minus all book-related expenses. Raja will personally visit Sattur schools and hand over 50% of that profit for children’s education. The schools and handover date will be announced once finalised.
Can I buy copies as gifts?+
Yes. Choose 1–20 copies to receive at one address and give them personally. Two copies cost ₹550 including shipping. For larger groups, contact us on WhatsApp. Separate recipient details, gift messages and gift wrapping are not available in this checkout.
Is this a children’s book?+
This is a Tamil short-story collection rooted in Sattur. Supporting children’s education does not make it a children’s book. Read the sample and consider the recipient’s reading interests before gifting.
Can I cancel after paying?+
Orders cannot be cancelled after payment. Please check your quantity, address and order total before paying.
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect book?+

How is my UPI payment confirmed?+
